GUESTHOUSE ‘Maré Baixa’
MARÉ BAIXA is the South-West facing and original part of the freshly renovated farmhouse which is rented whole year round. The guest house we share on the property, is rented out all year round as a holiday home up to 4 guests.
The entrance leads into the open-plan living room with original high ceiling – marked by a sitting and dining area with fully equipped kitchen, floor heating and fire place. In addition, there are two bedrooms with ‘en suite’ bathrooms, making the house ideal for a family holiday for 4 or two couples.
A large garden of 2,5 ha surrounds the Monte; here you can enjoy the warm Algarvian climate all day long. Relax on the sun loungers or read a book in the hammock on the alluring outdoor terrace. To fully enjoy the outdoors, you will find an outside kitchen with BBQ and dining table, on a impressive rooftop terrace perfect for sunbathing, an aperitif in the shade of the pergola or evening diner with beautiful sunset views.
Alternate days at the house with day trips in the area, there is so much beauty here.
Sotavento, the South-East side of the Algarve, is the part of the Algarve that is still very authentic and where the tradition is still alive.
There is a rich offer of unspoiled beaches on the islands of Farol, Faro, Culatra, Tavira, Armona or the "chic" seaside resorts of Vale de Lobo and Quinta de Lago near Loulé only a 20min drive.
Agostos is located in Santa Bárbara de Nexe, the Barrocal Algarvia in a natural amphitheater on the flanks of the Serra de Monte Figo, overlooking the Ria Formosa and Atlantic Ocean. Visit the pretty traditional towns of Loulé, Estoi,Faro, Olhão, Tavira …Here you will find the perfect holiday rhythm!
